Katsel Meditation Sterling is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to the living wisdom of the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Everything we do is made possible through the kindness of generous hearts.

With your support, we hope to create a lasting temple in Northern Virginia. A peaceful refuge for meditation, study, and the cultivation of loving-kindness.

Every offering, no matter the size, helps this vision take root. Monthly and legacy gifts carry the Dharma forward with stability and care.

May the merit of your generosity bring benefit, joy, and liberation to all beings.

Attend, Donate, Volunteer

Katsel Meditation Sterling is a peaceful 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the practice of Tibetan Buddhism under the guidance of Lama Konchok Sonam. Rooted in loving-kindness and compassion, we gather to meditate, study the Dharma, and benefit all sentient beings.

Our center offers meditation inspired rooms, back-support seating, cushions, sacred texts, fresh tea, a serene garden with reflection pond and large Buddha statue—creating a space of refuge for all who seek peace.

Suggested donation for classes is $10, though everyone is always welcome, regardless of ability to give. Your presence with a kind heart is the greatest offering.

If inspired, you may support the Dharma through acts of generosity: helping clean up, bringing offerings like tea or candles, or making a donation toward sustaining teachings and materials.

May all who enter find peace, connection, and the path of awakening.
